WE ARE MegaphonE

We are a creative production studio which believes in the power of storytelling to transform people’s lives and the world around us. Our aim is to empower our viewers to move beyond their usual understanding of the world.

Our mission is to create positive social impact and we only work with ethical charities and responsible organisations that share this aim. We’re a fast growing and dynamic company – nimble & responsive to the needs of each project, and we work with a fantastic team to deliver the best results.

We work closely and collaboratively with our clients to identify their core needs, tell their story & communicate their vision of the future.

We do our best to operate in as sustainable and responsible a way as possible, which includes offsetting the carbon emissions of all projects we work on and choosing who we partner with very carefully. Our Green Policy can be seen here.

Katherine

Katherine Needles

Executive Producer

Katherine has over 10 years experience working as a photographer. Her work has been published by National Geographic, The Guardian, The New York Times as well as in magazine publications such as Frank 151 and Lunch Lady. She was shortlisted for D&AD Next Photographer Award in 2017 and her recent work supports individuals and communities spearheading initiatives aimed at social and environmental change.

We’ve worked with Megaphone Media on some high-profile work with our partners M&S and Kingfisher/B&Q. On both projects Katherine and Ben have been really flexible, working to tight deadlines and adapting their approach to enable them to gather amazing content despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Shelter and our partners are delighted with the results, which really brought to life the incredible work we are doing to tackle bad housing and homelessness, telling the human stories behind the issues in a beautiful, engaging way.
